Wood firing creates amazing variation across the piece, as the wood ash melts into a glaze at 2400 degrees, and deposits across the work as the flame moves through the kiln.  These are absolutely one-of-a-kind depending on the location in the kiln.  Truly better in person, very difficult to photograph the metallic and iridescent surfaces!!
